mySelf

My name is Nan Jou Pern a.k.a Joe. I have just completed my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky, specializing in experimental fluid dynamics and active flow separation control. I used to spend most of my time in the Fluid Mechanics Lab, conducting research in low Reynolds number active flow control. Currently I am a Lead Engineer at GE Energy. I am passionated about the fascinating world of computers, technology (who isn’t?) and of course, my favorite, fluid dynamics. I am no computer whizkid, but I enjoy cracking computer problems anytime (If and when I have the time, that is!). So, feel free to to email me at njpern[at]yahoo[dot]com if you need an advice or two on technological puzzles.
